Hello!
Since I started using the new photoshop 2017 update, I have encountered issues with the text tool. As I write, the text doesn't actually show up. The only way I found to make it visible is by 'refreshing' the project by zooming in and out. However, it bugs out even more when I delete a text zone. The text, which I got to appear at that point, stays visible constantly even though the text has been deleted. Does anyone know how to fix this annoying glitch?
If not, is there a way to download an older version of photoshop, such as CC 2015, even if I never had it on my computer before?
Thanks a lot!
The solution given here a few days ago was to reset your Photoshop preference files. To do this:
1) Press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT key and click on your Photoshop Link

3) When PS launches, the text tool will work normally.
There is also a reset button in Photoshop by Going to Edit >> Preferences and in General Tab there is a button. This, I am told does not solve everything.

I had the same problem and finally fixed it by selecting the text box, highlighting the text, opening the character panel and clicking on the menu list in the top right corner and hitting, "reset character".
