Photoshop 2021 crashes eternally

I have been experiencing daily (hourly?) crashes in Photoshop on multiple levels of usage. It's really not a functional program for me right now, which is disappointing considering I've been using it for over 20 years.

Common scenarios that will cause a crash:

Open app, create new document, Save As... crash
Try to change blend mode of layer... crash
Import image/asset from Bridge... crash

Steps I've taken (repeatedly) to remedy:

Update/unistall/reinstall/fallback to older version... really no change. I can get things to work for a while, then crash again.
Reset preferences. Like several times a day. Still crashes. Adobe people: this isn't a fix. It's not even a workaround. This is broken.
Turn on Legacy Compositing... meh, no change and apparently not available in 2021 anyway
Turn off graphics card (Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080Ti). Why have GPU "performance" if it causes crash? Regardless, still crashes with or without GPU enabled.

Seriously, Adobe... this has to get fixed. What are we paying for? GIMP is free. Please contact your paying customers and help us resolve this issue.

I also have a system with 64GB RAM and NVidia 2080ti and have never had a crash or freeze with v22

Can you go to Help >System info and press copy. Then paste the info here

The main difference I see is the NVidia driver. You are using a later driver (457.30) I am using the previous studio driver (456.71). It might be worth a try stepping back. If you do, use the Advanced options in the Nvidia installer and choose clean install.

You have one plug in which I don't have installed here - the WebP plug in. It may be worth starting without it - just to be sure

Super appreciate your effort to help, but unfortunately, experiencing same issues. I've removed the WebP plugin (something Photoshop should do natively in 2020 IMO) and dropped the Nvidia driver back to 456.71. Then I open a psd, add an image (jpg) on a layer and attempt to change blend mode... crash. No report to Adobe dialog box appears - is there a way to capture what's happening here?

So a bit of an update I think. I've still been experiencing intermittement (like every other time I use it) crashes with both v21.2.4 and v22.1. @Enchanted_writer5CC1 there is no particular file I can give you that illustrates the crashing. I can create a new file (let's say 400x400px 72dpi, nothing extravagant) and simply try to "Save As" and the whole app goes down on either version. This is after I've reset prefs and disabled my GPU - and restarted computer etc. I can also achieve crashes when changing a blend mode. I'm multi-talented.

The new part I've discovered (literally today) is that this may be linked to Windows 10 scaling. I have dual monitors (3840x2160) which Windows is scaling up to 150%. On a whim I set scaling to 100% and Photoshop now is working as expected. However, this also sucks because it makes things very hard to read on my screens. I then discovered that you can have the app set its own scaling in this article:

So now I have my Windows scaling back to 150% and the "High DPI scaling override" enabled for Photoshop - and it's working. For now. Fingers crossed. I'd NOT call this a resolution yet. But it's hopeful.

I will attempt to keep this updated as it's been really frustrating and I can't be the only person experiencing it. Appreciate everyone's support.
