Photoshop 2022 kills my wifi

New Here ,

Hi, I installed Creative Cloud and Photoshop less than a month ago on a new PC that mounts Windows 11.

All gpu drivers are updated, but I have noticed this very annoying problem: whenever I start Photoshop, my wifi connection goes down, and I have to wait several minutes to get it back to work (and only if I shutdown photoshop).

I have searched the topic already, but no solution I found seems to apply to my case.

I'd really appreciate any help or insight on the matter!

not  sure how wifi would go  down? LIke stop working? or slow the connection? how can you tell?

Photoshop will use the wifi when  connected to log you in to Creative Cloud, connect and sync your  library files, and if saving to the cloud it could be  uploading and/or synching your cloud based files, templates, or any new  files you might have placed or updated within your Creative Cloud folder.

Hope that helps!

Connection to the internet simply stops working, and my pc is connected through wifi

how can you tell?

If I connect with a remote desktop app to my PC (Using Anydesk) and then start Photoshop, the connection goes down and I cant reconnect unless I close down Photoshop.

The connection problem also happens if I start Photoshop directly on my machine.

I thought it was a firewall incompatibility with avast, so I uninstalled avast, but the problem persists..

@33rd Street Studio @33rd Street Studio is it completely dropping or is it tied up with syncing?

Are you connecting via 5 ghz or 2.4/dual band?

Photoshop itself wouldn't "kill"/shutdown a wifi connection, but if your signal strength is weak/slow it could be hogging bandwidth.

It's dropping completely! It mostly happens when i am exporting any file in PNG. However, sometime, it keeps loading a page while working on Photoshop.

Are you exporting to a local drive or to the cloud? What page is loading? Are you using Photoshop online or desktop?

Yeah, I found this question odd and was asked two years ago. I've never seen Photoshop stop the Wi-Fi when working with it. Even if you were exporting to the cloud, how did it stop the Wi-Fi? I would think it's the Wi-Fi that stopped and then Photoshop doesn't work. But perhaps this is with something to do with Photoshop on the web? But even that, how would it stop the Internet? hmm.
