Photoshop 2023 crashing

photoshop 24.0.0 crashes on opening any type of image. will open a new file but will crash when any type of editing begins. installed on mac OS Ventura 13.0. lightroom crashes immediately. lightroom classic is unresponsive.

Sounds like more than one app causing issues.

Reinstalling rarely fixes everything - you can do a complete reinstall using the
Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

Photoshop is completely unusable for me right now. Crashed when I try to open a simple file

Have you tried the suggestions in this thread that I've already suggested?

Can you let us know your system specs?

Have you tried starting in safe mode and seeing if the issue remains?
