well i had issues too. i spend 2 hours with a incompetent adobe support employee on the chat.

then i decided to say /%%/.. and deleted photoshop, cleaned all PS folders.... and installed it fresh.

should have done that from the start. would saved me some time.

it´s a pain to install all plugs, brushes etc again but i need a working PS today.

I'have uninstalled PS from Creative Cloud, deleted preferences and installed a fresh version. Same problem !

If i launch PS and do nothing the app doesn't crash but when I try to work a few seconds...

i have cleaned all PS folders too.

just uninstalling leaves traces and that produced issues for me before.

so i clean all folders belonging to PS manually now.

Did you run the CC cleaner tool afer uninstalling? That removes the "traces".

the cc cleaner tool destroyed other adobe apps in the past.

i may use it when i want to get rid of all things adobe..... but not when uninstalling just one app.

as i have to use PS and other adobe apps for 22 years now im pretty confident doing it manually.

Could you list all the folders/paths that need deleting please? I'm sure a lot more people will be looking for that information when reinstalling the app. Thanks!

Open Creative Cloud -> go to All Apps -> Click 3 dots (...) next to Photoshop 'Open' button -> Other versions -> Install 22.0.1 or previous versions.

PLEASE Adobe??!!! Please, I do not want even 1 new feature in the next year. I just want Photoshop and Lightroom Classic to work correctly and faster. PLEASE spend the next year, or however long it takes, to make your products reliable for those of us who rely on them.
