Question

Photoshop 24.0.1 does not work with my Intel graphics card

I have an Intel HD onboard graphics card and when I run photoshop 24.0.1 it shows an error. And can't see GPU option on preferences. I worked with the cc20 version and there was nothing like this? Is there any problem with my graphics card to run this version of Photoshop?

If so can I run Photoshop version 22.2 on this graphics card?

Hi

You need to be a lot more specific about the actual onboard GPU

Version 22.2 may and may not work

Your graphics card is really old... I have a 2011 MacBook Pro that has Intel 3000HD graphics. So yeah, not going to be supported. Photoshop will still run, you just have to decide if the new features and bug fixes are worth not having GPU acceleration.

I have the same problem using Photoshop 2024 with a ASUS notebook with an Intel HD Graphics 3000 system dated 19 May 2016. This message when I open Photoshop and it's greyed out when I check the options under preferences:

Fail:    OpenGL unavailable

Fail:    OpenCL unavailable

Fail:    DirectX unavailable

Fail:    Insufficient VRAM: (0 MB of 1500 MB required)

Pass:    Direct X feature level UNKNOWN available, feature level 12.0 required

GPU Detected: Unknown GPU (UNKNOWN)

Is there a reasonable solution (meaning, I do not have to update my computer to accomadate PS surely???)? Thanks for any advice.
