Photoshop 24.3.0 - No in-app adobe stock option

Hi

I cannot search or indeed view stock images etc within Photoshop 2023 v 24.3.0 on my desktop.

I can with AI and all other apps but not PS.

I have uninstalled, re-installed, deleted preferences, logged out, logged in etc etc but still the option does not exist, I can only search internal libraries. (see image).

Just to confirm, on the same session, there is no issue search within AI and others just PS so it is not a PC issue (Windows 11) or similar.

Any ideas as to how I can resolve?

Thanks,

Daren

Thanks for the update @ITsoldWebServices for the strobe issue:

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and enable “Older GPU mode (pre 2016)” - Restart Photoshop. Does the problem persist?

Hi Cory,

No, but I also had to deactivate native canvas.

Thank you for your help guys and gals. Great stuff all round.

Thanks for your reply but alas, I already have about 10 libraries.

Hi Cory,

I reset the preferences previously without success but this is what I did prior to reading your reply...

1. I removed 24.3 and rolled back to 24.2, no joy*

2. Rolled back to 24.1, no joy.*

3. Saw your reply and updated back to 24.3.0 and the arrow has returned but this time, any image opened caused the workspace to go all strobe on me and flash white so I edited the preference as per an earlier post.

the arrow has returned and I can now work on stock within Ps. The details I used to stop the strobe are below, do you still wish to see my system setup?

Hi, I believe you need to start a library in order to see all the functions.

Hi all, as @Jeff Arola mentioned, you should see a down arrow to open the search function inside the library pannel in Ps.

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

hope not lol.

Just spotted today as been working in AI for a while so may well have missed it prior.

Thanks again Michelle, have a great weekend.

Cheers

Yes, it is probably a bug and just needs to be fixed. I don't think the team would intentionally take out functionality without replacing it with something better. Hang in there and keep an eye on the Fixed issues page: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/fixed-issues.html#photoshop-desktop-fixed-issues

Phew,

thought I was going bonkers, is it meant to be a function within the APP or have the update to 24.3.0 messed it up?

You are right--I don't have that arrow either!
