Photoshop 26.6 Gradient not allowing more than one in a layer or mask layer

I can't seem to figure out how to make more than 1 gradient in the same layer. I used to able to that, and now when I apply a second gradient, the one before disappeards. It is very frustrating, especially in you are working on a mask layer and need gradients to come from different directions.
What can I do???

I think I found the solution. Change the Method to Linear instead of Perceptual

I would recommend trying this: In the drop down menu on the left side of the Option bar, select the "Classic Gradient" option. Then, in the Mode drop down, select Multiply. I usually set the Method to Classic.
