Photoshop and High Sierra | macOS 10.13

Hi I have Photoshop CS6 as I cant afford to upgrade to the Creative Suites.  This has been working fine up until I updated the operating system on my mac to High Sierra 10.13.5 (17F77).

Now I have no fonts available, only Myriad Pro and Apple Braille.

Do you have any fixes?  If I had been warned then I would not have updated my operating system.

Hi

Unfortunately Photoshop CS6 is not supported any longer so there won't be any fixes rolled out.

You really need to check before making major system updates that the software you are running will be compatible with the particular update.

Here's an article posted in 2017 about High Sierra and Adobe software compatibility

You could try this

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Thanks for letting me know, have you heard of any other users of cs6 that this has happened to?

We hear constantly from people who upgraded their Mac system without checking for compatibility and have every kind of problem. Check all your apps, every time. You can expect to buy many new apps for every upgrade: Apple do not make any claim old stuff will keep running; Wuite the opposite. This is part of the joy and expense of Mac ownership. Photoshop is now subscription only, from US$10 per month, and subscribers get free updates. Systems are changing faster and faster, expect subscriptions for everything.

I should say that this does not seem a common problem. If you have a font manager check that, they always need updates.

CS6 still works. You need to delete your font caches to see if that helps.
