Hey all! As the title suggest, an animation I'm making in photoshop stops working after a certain frame!
I'm using photoshop CC

I've also noticed that it has a 1-500 timer, so the frame it stops at is at the 500 mark

It's also set as a video timeline & not a frame animation!

Any help would me much appreciated, as I'm trying to make an add to make money.

Thank you!!

here's the timeline! I couldn't get everything to fit, but "layer 15" is where it keeps ending on the preview.Screen Shot 2016-11-15 at 4.51.25 PM.png

& here is there 0-500 timer thing. At 500 is where it stops at layer 15!

Make a new video group at the bottom of the stack.  Put a layer in that group, and fill it with black.  This should appear as the lowest clip in your video timeline, but drag it into that position if need be.

You should now be able to drag the end point of that black clip out to any point you need, and the timeline will extend to accommodate it.

I do have a layer like that! It was cut off, but it's the white background Screen Shot 2016-11-16 at 10.09.22 AM.png

I shortened some frames. Even though it still stops at the 500 mark in the timer, it goes a bit further into the animation.

Even though i don't know this is a problem in photoshop, it seems like my animation is too long? if there's a way to expand that 0-500 timer that'd probably work, since it seems like even if i have a set end for my animation the timer just won't let it reach it

Try removing the timer, just to see if it completes the whole run.

I would like to say I found away around this!
While I'm not sure how to get around the 500 frame limit while using a video timeline, I was able to work around it by turning it into a frame animation & copy+pasting the separate parts of the animation together

used this video (starts at 3 min) Photoshop - Alternate image sequence import methods / Over 500 frames - YouTube

thank you all for your help!!
