Photoshop brush changes colour

New Here ,
Mar 14, 2019 Mar 14, 2019

I must've run my hand across the keyboard by accident and changed something because now my brushes are stuck on a permanent multiply (?) mode or something. Its only when my brush (all/any of them) interacts with other colours on the same layer it looks real weird and its getting on my nerves... >:/  anyone know how to fix this? Capture.PNG

Have you accidentally changed the Mode of the brush to anything other than Normal? Check your Options bar.

The Options Bar is the first port of call when things go weird in Photoshop.  If you watch the Bert Monroy videos, he is forever having  to whip  up there and fix a setting he'd forgotten he'd changed earlier.
