Photoshop CC 2018: side button eraser stops working for a second if I lift the pen

In photoshop CS6 it works perfectly fine, but in CC 2018 it lags if I do multiple strokes. When I release the side button I can do another stroke perfectly fine, but if I attempt to do a second one without releasing it, it freezes for a second. There you can see that I do a few strokes, release the button, and again do a few strokes:

Also, if I use the eraser at the back of the pen it works fine, but it's so uncomfortable to flip the pencil all the time, so does going back and forth between "B" and "E" shortcuts

What tablet are you using? You can change settings of your pen easily from their software, so you can get the eraser right. Have follower this guide Tablet support for Photoshop on Windows 8 , if not please do! Let me know if this works
