I performed a clean installation of v20.0.2 as well as clean installation of Nvidia driver released on 15th January, and the problem still persists.
Photoshop crashes as soon as I try to open any type of a file. Tested with 10+ files (jpeg / png / tiff / psd)
The only way to get it to work is to disable Graphics Card in preferences (which reduces the performance greatly in every way)
I have also tried installing CC 2018 & 2017 versions with the same result.
NOTE: It has been working fine for months till 2 days ago with no changes to the system
Followed all the steps in GPU troubleshooting and the issue still persists.
Had Adobe support remotely connect to the PC re-doing all the steps I took then said Advanced team will get back to me...that was days ago

To anyone having the same problem, I managed to resolve the issue:
1. Used Creative Cloud Cleaner to remove all traces of CC Apps
2. Restarted in Safe Mode and deleted all Adobe folders that couldn't be removed by CC Cleaner
3. Uninstalled and removed all traces of Nvidia GeForce Experience and Nvidia drivers
4. Downloaded Creative Cloud and installed the apps again
5. Prior to installing Nvidia driver downloaded from their website I tested Photoshop using Windows installed driver and it worked fine

Hi
Apart from this OpenCL crashed on 15/01/2019 at 9:17:32 PM (Initializing OpenCL and OpenCL enabled features), I don't see anything wrong with your system info, I see you have 2 displays are the both connected to the Nivdia card
Take a look at section 7 here and make sure that Photoshop.exe is added to the Nvidia control panel
Troubleshoot Photoshop graphics processor (GPU) and graphics driver issues

Thanks for the reply.
I have been using 2 monitors connected to the same GPU for years with no issues.
In the NVIDIA Control Panel I don't have option 2. Choose preferred graphics processor.
Onboard graphics is disabled in BIOS, so it doesn't even show up in the hardware list.
As I mentioned, nothing changed on the system side of things (hardware, software, drivers etc.) and it has been running without any issues since 2017

Option 2 is for Laptops, I just mentioned about the monitors to see if they where indeed connected to the Nvidia card
I know you mentioned a clean install did you do that with the Adobe cleaner tool
Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Copied
I didn't use the CC cleaner tool to uninstall it.
Even though I don't see how it would make any difference I'll try that next.
Thanks for the suggestion

What you posted is not a crash report it part of your Photoshop CC 2019 version 20.0.2 menu Help>System info and its is incomplete foe it doe not contain the Plug-in and extension information.
If several versions of Photoshop are failing one you system and turning off GPU support helps. I would agree with you the problem is most likely related to your Nvidia 1080 GTX device driver. Have you tried a Google search and try older device drivers? They seem to be updataing that driver often two a month a sign of problems IMO....
GeForce Experience automatically keeps your drivers up to date and your games optimized. Learn more >
Search all GeForce drivers including WHQL, beta and legacy, by providing your system information.

I intentionally didn't post the rest of the report as all plugin & extension info is reported as loading normally without issues.
As I mentioned, the software environment of the system hasn't changed prior to crash issues and has been working fine. All other apps are working normally as always and for Photoshop alone to start crashing without any changes to the system points at a Photoshop issue rather than the graphics card and associated driver.
Google search doesn't result in any viable solutions to my problem. This forum is the last place I look to for answers and have spent last 2 days researching it to no avail.

Have you tried simply disabling OpenCL instead of all GPU support in Photoshop?

Yes I tried deselecting the OpenCL option as well

Have you looked to see if there are crash reports the when Photoshop crashes and stops working post ant details here. Have you tried and of the Nvidia older device drivers? You only posted part of your system Info.

Good to hear your working I have had problems with Nvidia drivers where I had to remove old nvidia drivers first. Normally I can just install any version and the install will remove the old version first bit I have Quadro adapter not a Geforce.
