Photoshop cc2017 freezes on Windows 8

Every since the new Photoshop has been released it is slow and hard to use and freezes up. It getting tot he point now i stop using it i have windows 8 full up to date but it is a shadow of the last version.

I am losing so much time on my work as well

Is anyone else having issues with the latest Photoshop, some of the new features are annoying like when creating new items. The old way was much better and now its complicated  and freezes. You also cant paste have to drop down the menu to do this otherwise you loose whats on the clipboard

Maybe i need windows 10
