So is there a fix for this? I'm having the same problem. I have Photoshop CC 2018, and Creative Cloud tells me that it's updated.

It's not a good idea to reply to older threads. Post a new one with your information:

Supply pertinent information for quicker answers

* The more information you supply about your situation, the better equipped other community members will be to answer. Consider including the following in your question:

* Adobe product and version number

* Operating system and version number

* The full text of any error message(s)

* What you were doing when the problem occurred

* Screenshots of the problem

* Computer hardware, such as CPU; GPU; amount of RAM; etc.

Hi, there is no reason to continue using a CC 2014. Please update to the latest released version from the Creative Cloud panel.

All my best,
Martin

What I immediately notice from your report is that you have a base version-- 15.0.0 of Photoshop and 15.2.4 is the latest. So the first thing is to update to take care of bugfixes. Why you would keep a base version is a mystery to me. Click on Update on your CC Desktop app for the latest.

Then again you have Sierra and can upgrade to CC 2017.1.1 at no extra charge as a cloud member.

Wish I could - this is a work machine and maintained by a third party. This means I can only have whatever build they decide - any (albeit free) upgrades come at a cost from the third party.

Yay.

Is there anything I may be able to do with this version of the software locally which may help work around the problem? I have admin rights on the machine.

If not enough, try to:

go to ~/Library/Preferences (or similar path)

locate the Save for Web Pref and delete it (you may find it inside the adobe file)

Try to hold down Alt, Ctrl, and Shift keys (Mac: Command, Option, Shift) while starting up Photoshop. A dialog box will appear asking if you wish to delete the preferences/settings file.

Have you considered upgrading to Photoshop CC 2017?
