Hi.

I had a cracked version installed on my Laptop in order to try photoshop out. Eventually, I decided to purchase Photoshop. Since the install, Im experiencing crashes here and there.

Is it because i have some "leftovers" from the cracked version?

What do i need to do in order to clean my PC and reinstall a clean version of Photoshop. Thanks.

First thing to do is NOT use Pirated Software. That's about all I have to say.

The real fact is that no-one here can advise you whether the "cracked" version is causing your issues as no-one here knows what/if malware was installed and what other changes the crack made to your system in order to run. The Adobe CC cleaner may help , but that is looking to back out changes made the genuine software not by the hackers.

Moved to Photoshop forum.

Hello,

Did you know that you could download a trial version of Photoshop? that would have alleviated many problems, plus there is always the risk of malware...

A friend installed the cracked version my PC, I checked the files prior to installing and no maleware was found. I personally like to have genuine sofwares (I have premiere too), As I work with them daily. This was a mistake I will never make again.

I will try the tool suggested above, hopefully it will work. If not, I will reinstall Windows and photoshop.

Hi

User this tool to completely remove all remnants of Photoshop, run Anti-Virus and Malware software on your PC or better still format the hard drive and re-install the OS, you never know what kind of nasties where installed with the pirated version

It would have been better to install the trial version from Adobe in the first place
