Photoshop Crashing due to Adobe Spaces Helper

Hello, I have had up to ten crashes caused by 'Adobe Spaces Helper' in the last month (Sept 7th 2021 - Oct 10th 2021). In all cases the crash was tied to the Watchdog thread.

 

  • Last night I was working on a large photoshop file and it was saving a linked smart object, when Photoshop seemed to freeze during the save. I walked away from my system for about an hour and it had crashed the whole system.
  • Another thing I have noticed when working on large photoshop files (I would say 1gig and up) sometimes my system will freeze and then I get the 'Adobe Creative Cloud App encoutered an error. Quit or Repair'. This only happened when working on those large photoshop files. I have both quit and repaired, and in the past ran the CC cleaner tool.

Hi, Did you submit the crash reports to Adobe? And are you not planning on moving up to 10.15, 11.6, or 12.0 in the near future?

This error is for a really old version of Photoshop. Update to either Photoshop 22.5.2 or 23.0. Let us know if you're still having an issue with the latest versions.

    I just upgraded to 23.0.2. I'd never had this issue before, and it has appeared now. I will be Submitting a bug report on this, but please know that the new version has not addressed this problem.
