Photoshop doesn't open after importing 1GB .asl file

Bought a product from Bracken Design which contains a 1GB .asl file with styles.

It took 10 min just to import the styles. I immediately closed it after it imported them.

Now, when I try to open PS, it stays on the splash screen.

I'm on macOS Catalina 10.15.7, Photoshop 2020.

I was able to make it open by following the instructions here:

By just removing the Styles.psp file from 

~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop 2020 Settings

I can now open PSD.
