How [cursing removed by moderator] can come from a quite good software to this? First of all, I am doing sketches on DIN A3 paper for storyboards, then I scan them and cut each panel to a single file. So I can change the order an play around with. So I use Strg+C/ Strg+N/ Strg+V alot. But whyyyy did you change this? So now I have to type in the size of my copied file every time. Because Photoshop isn't automatically using the size of the clipboard anymore. Also when I want so save the files, now I get asked everytime if I want to save them in the cloud. NO, I dont want to. Except you give me 8TB Cloud Space for free, then we are talking.
So Adobe get your [cursing removed by moderator] together. And I probably go back to working only analogue or I use Microsoft Paint. Which is probably more user friendly right now.

How about doing a Forum search before posting nonsense?
Please try
Photoshop > Preferences > General > Use Legacy "New Document" Dialog
and
Photoshop > Preferences > File Handling > Default File Location > On your computer
And maybe restart Photoshop to make sure.

I shouldn't have to do a search if Adobe wouldn't have changed it. And I'm gonna post raging comments here if they do so in the future. See, quick fix and thanks for the info.

If you don’t want any changes to occur in Photoshop maybe you should stop upgrading it and lock down your computer. Obviously not recommendable in a commercial environment, but for some it might work out … until they have to purchase a new computer and install a current Photoshop version after all.
And this Forum is, except in the case of explicit Feature Requests or Bug Reports, mainly a user Forum.
So please consider who you are addressing.

All software evolves and grows. And they do so with the mass majority in mind.
Will you be happy with all things when there is a new update... probably not. Will you find some new features that will blow your mind and rock your workflow yes.
Everything digital changes. It is life. Each year new things are introduced and old outdated processes are retired. Does not matter if it is an Adobe product or something from Microsoft or even Apple.
Can every company make every user happy 100%. Nope. I wish they had the time to do so. But sadly that is not possible.
We simply have to evolve with the changes and find work arounds. Plain and simple. Does it suck, sure... but we have to do it.

I have no idea what the photoshop devs are smoking, the newer 2023 version is such crap. Like, vomit level bad. I guess I need to downgrade or something
