photoshop how to make whole object transparent? (only know object selection, quick selection basics)

 i have these two logos here, and want to be able to make the whole logo transparent, and remove the opaque white spots, by quick selecting within the quick select, or something like that, screenshots below;

if you can describe what to do,and send a video tutorial URL that would be great, and very much appreciated please.

Please post the images on this Forum properly. 

Depending on the logos’ colors and whether they have gradients or just sharp edges a Channel based selection might make more sense than involving selection tools.

just select the white with color range, invert the selection and add a mask. If you're unsure how to use those tools, just search for them on youtube.
