When opening the image in photoshop the colors change to more vibrant colors. The "color setting" is set to Adobe RGB 1998, "Assign Profile" is set to Adobe RGB, and "Convert to Profile" is assigned to Adobe RGB. Also, "Proof Setup" is set as Wroking CMYK. When I "Export" image file as JPG, the colors go back to original colors. However, when I save image file as PDF under "Save as" the colors image get saved as vibrant color. I'm trying to keep the colors exactly the same as the original image which is also RGB. I don't know why colors change for PDF when saving?

NOTE: image color stays the same as original when I export image file as PDF in canva.com.

SO many screenshots, Fatima. I didn't see one for the second screen when Saving As>Photoshop PDF, Output>Color Conversion. The default is no conversion. Perhaps you need to select Convert to Destination?

Everything is set as default. However I changed the settings as instructed above and saved the file. The colors still saved different (more vibrant). Something interesting, when I take the original file, upload it into canva and save it as PDF (RGB) the colors stay the same. Then I open the same PDF (canva) file in Photoshop, resize/crop, then save as PDF, the image colors stay the same just like the original. However, when I do the same exact steps for the PNG (RGB) original image file and export it as PDF the colors change. Something, happens when I open the orginal PNG file in photoshop, because the display color also change.

It sounds like the color profile is not embedded, thus leaving color undefined. The Export screenshot shows that "embed profile" is unchecked. Check it.

An embedded profile will override your working space.

As long as the file is created with an embedded profile, that profile will travel with the file and preserve color throughout.

I don't have any color issues when exporting jpg. The problem is the PDF.
