Photoshop is automatically creating a duplicated layer
As soon as I start any transformation on a layer, for example scale.
I don't know whether this is bug on my Photoshop (PS2021MacOS Big Sur) or if there is any setting that cause the issue.
Any help? Thank you

Hello, could you describe how you are transforming: if via shortcut, please list the key pressed, in another thread, someone was using CTRL+ALT+T, and that is transform a copy... CTRL+T is transform.

You are totally right!
It works with Cmnd-T
For some reason I thought it was Comand-Alt-T.
Thank you for your help. Just to say that I received e-mails from other people with the same problem, so it may be that earlier versions of Photoshop they didn't have this Transform and copy option.
I think earlier versions of PS didn't have the option of Transform and Copy shortcut, that's way.

If it was early version, we're talking something like 20 years ago, as the CTRL+ALT+T and CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+T for repeat copy transform (super useful to create abstract or fractal-like designs) have been there for a VERY long time.

Weird. I cannot reproduce. Do you have any third party panels, actions, or plug-ins installed?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
