Use the ‘Get Info’ command in the Finder to ensure the file is unlocked and you have permission to access the file. If the problem persists, save the document to a different file or duplicate it in the Finder.”
How can I stop this PS behavior? Seems to happen in spirts, and with no common characteristics in the locked images. PS is CC updated to the latest. Mac is Mac Mini (M1, 2020) Memory 8 GB, MacOS 11.7...

Thanks, Ged! I followed the directions and hopefully that solves the problem! I've never been able to find a solution before. Maybe I was asking the question improperly. Will the Full Disk Access to PS still apply when Adobe updates the application?

Maybe, Brian, but can any of us say with certainty what will happen in the next updates to Photoshop and macOS? 🙂 Full disk access is a security feature from Apple that was introduced with Mojave.
If it doesn't work in future updates, check back here and we'll have an answer for you!
