Photoshop keeps blurring any pixel art i drag into it.

I'm working on a pixel art style project that required the files to be psd. I made the art through another program but have them saved as pngs. everytime i try to open them in photoshop to create a layered psd with all the files they become blurry. I have no idea how to fix this problem.

I'm not scaling up the images. I'm just dragging the file in, it shows them unblured for a moment as intended then suddenly they are blurry.

How do i fix this.

What is viewing percentage when previewing image? Can you post screenshot of entire window with Layers panel visible?

Yes, please show a full interface screenshot.

Make sure you are viewing your images at 100% magnification.

Is the resolution of the pngs the same as your document? Are they placed as smart objects?

I took a screen shot and be aware I have no idea what anything you just said means. I've literally never touched photoshop before and thought it would be as simple as any other program.

I tried looking up what ever I could online about this but well found nothing so thats why I'm here now.
