Photoshop Lasso Tool Closing Issue

Hello,

I am creating this form to see if there's a way to change the double click close selection option on and off, or adjust it to a key option for example, when using the Polygonal Lasso having to return to the starting point & holding the letter C on your keyboard while clicking at the starting point to close the selection.

I use photoshop on a Surface & Desktop computer, the desktop computer randomly closes every now and then, but on the Surface its really bad i will click and it will auto close, and i know for a fact i am only clicking once. I have turned off touch pad, adjusted Scratch disks, adjusted performance ext. 

I have seen alot of posts about this issue, I am puzzled why there isnt a disable option or modification option to adjust or change the double clikc Function, maybe i just cant find it??
