Photoshop Not Loading Properly

Community Beginner ,
Oct 20, 2025 Oct 20, 2025

Hi All,

In Short, Photoshop has been working great since last friday.. Now it doesnt want to load up unless i hold down the Control Key. It will load up and work like normal aside from trying to print anything and then just crashes.. It says I have no addons either so im very confused.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled all the adobe suite apps and cloud. I have reinstalled graphic drivers.

I have also installed older versions to see if its a new version thats just doing it but all the same.

iightroom works just perfectly its literally just PS.

Im even tempted to reinstall windows as i am wondering if its a windows update that has caused this?

Any help is greatful

Best Regards,

Chris.

there is a widespread AWS outage affecting Adobe services. It could be affecting any cloud connected plugins. See status.adobe.com for more information.

I have read that there is a big outage affecting pretty much everything but this has been happening on my PC since friday?

Best Regards,

Chris

@chrisr35605503 have you tried resetting preferences? Hold ctrl+shift+alt when you launch it will ask if you want to reset.

Sometimes reisntalling does not replace prefs and if they are somehow corrupted, it could cause these issues.

The other thing is if you go to the PS exe and right-click choose "run as administrator" and see if it resolves.
