Photoshop Performance with Artboards

Photoshop being laggy and slow when working with 6 atrboards multiplied by 9x16, 4x5, and 1x1 sizes, so 18 artboards, it just get's real slow even with 3 artboards. Even working with only 1 artboard, it works not so smooth as might work.

Is there anything I can do to increase performance, I see some videos online, where it works perfectly fine. In my case even the text type tool works sluggish.

I use Macbook Pro M1, 16gb

What are the dimensions in px of the canvas size? What is the bit depth? How many and what type of layers per artboard?
