Question

Photoshop Print Settings Default Layout

Hello!

Within the last 4 months or so (possibly since the last big Photoshop update), I've noticed an annoying change in my Photoshop Print Settings. I go to print, and the Photoshop Print Settings box pops up. For whatever reason, the page I'm trying to print shows up off kilter, with a black diagonally lined border on the bottom and right side (see image below).

In order for the document to print properly, I have to click the landscape layout button and then click the portrait layout button for it to re-align itself.

Once I do that, it looks just fine!

As you can surmise, this isn't a world-ending problem. However, it is very irksome and I'm hoping one of you brilliant people will have a suggestion that I haven't thought of!

Thanks so much in advance!

Hi there,

We're sorry to hear about the issue with the print settings, could you please try tapping the space key when you hit File > Print and see if it helps?

Also, which exact version of Photoshop are you working on and which operating system are you using?

Regards,
Sahil

Hi Sahil,

Thanks for your response! Is there a certain moment I should tap the space bar? I've tried doing it immediately after hitting File > Print and after waiting a little bit, but it doesn't seem to make a difference, unfortunately!

I'm using Adobe Photoshop Version: 19.1.6 20180808.r.398 2018/08/08: 1185588  x64

My Operating System is Windows 10 64-bit

Let me know if I can provide any other information!

Thanks so much for your help!
