New Here ,
Jun 15, 2018 Jun 15, 2018

Recently updated Windows 10 to its new updatesld one and henceforth im unable to save my works on photoshop as it shows error saying : "Could not complete the save as command because there is not enough memory (RAM)"

And when trying to open the preferences menu its showing an error : "An integral between 96 and 8 is required. Closest value inserted"

Its really frustrating. Need to work on some important project and this is how it had turned out to be. Please help!!!!

Hi

This will sort it for you

Error while accessing performance preferences - 'An integer between 96 and 8 is required.'

You haven't mentioned what version of Photoshop you have and the reg folder will be different for each version, 120.0 for CC 2018, 110.0 for CC 2017 etc

Thank you so much. It worked well. @Ged do you think 4gb RAM is enough to do basic photoshop works? Or was the error not related to RAM at all?

The issue was caused by Microsoft's recent update to version 1803, you should get by with 4GB although the more RAM you have the better.

Don't really know how the update caused the issue but that's Microsoft for you
