Photoshop stopped opening Olympus & Panasonic raw files

Suddenly PS has stopped opening Olympus and Panasonic raw files. This happens with my GH5 and my Oly Tough. I am getting the error message:

Photoshop cannot open this file.

If you are attempting to open a raw file from a digital camera, make sure

I have the latest version of PS (19.1.2) and Camera Raw CC is up to date. Running W10.

Any clues?

Hi unknownsailor,

Are you facing this after any specific Photoshop update? Maybe 19.1.2?

Both GH5 and Tough TG4/5 cameras supported with this version of Photoshop. Try installing the camera raw plugin 10.2 via Camera Raw plug-in installer and check if that helps.

Mohit

Thanks, Mohit. The raw plugin fixed the issue. This didn't happen after the latest update but it may have been the previous one. I hadn't tried opening a raw file for a month or two.
