I've been using Skylum's Luminar software for about 5 years. Typically, I'd use it as a filter in PS (and often ran it as part of an action). Two days ago, everything worked as usual. As of yesterday, I can no longer open a tiff, raw or psd files via PS in any of the Luminar programs. The program opens, but the image file does not load. I hadn't updated anything (Windows PC, Luminar or PS) from the time it was working to the time it stopped. To make it more strange, jpg's will open from PS (and from the standalone Luminar program). Raw files won't open via PS but will open from the standalone Luminar program.
Since then to troubleshoot, I've done everything I can think of (unistalling and reinstalling PS, Luminar). I've disabled virus software. I've rolled back all of the software. I've made sure the latest software (including Windows and my graphics driver) were all up to date. I've even upgraded Windows from 10 to 11 - hoping that a system file was the culprit and it would resolve the issue. I've checked the same procedure on another computer and everything works fine.
I'm at a loss and the support people at Skylum (based in Ukraine) haven't offered a fix.
Any suggestions? I'm a full-time portrait and school photographer and my workflow includes batch processing school yearbook photos with a couple of the features included in Luminar 4 that I'd hate to have to do without.

Good afternoon friends...
I think I can say that I bring the solution to our problem, finally!!
The problem is in the X-Rite calibrator software, i1Profiler.
I have completely uninstalled the most updated version and Luminar Neo works.
I installed a version from January of this year of i1Profiler, and it works.
I invite you to try it and be happy, as I have done.
A big hug from Madrid.
Yessss, WSheehey, I already had anxiety about this problem; I have jumped out of the chair when it worked, jjj.
I leave you the link to the version of i1Profiler that does not interfere with Luminar Neo (I have not tried a more recent one, but this one works for me):

Oh my. I recently was forced to upgrade my Xrite Calibration Software to Calibrate CC Profiler. It is a pay upgrade as xRite has abandoed my outdated i1Display Pro. Now Luminar Neo has stopped working. I have been working with Skylum all day. I have removed all profiling software and unintalled and reinstalled Neo several times. What a mess and lost work hours. They are responsive and continue to ask for System Error Files to isolate the problem. If I use Lightroom and edit in Neo, it creates a Tiff file, but Neo never launches.

Hi David…
This thread has two pages; have you read both pages and all their replies?
In one of them I write that you don’t have to uninstall Luminar, but the Xrite software and install an older version (I left the most recent version and that it doesn’t crash with Luminar Neo in one of the replies)
I hope it helps you 🙏🏻

hi Kako, This link no longer works. I have reached out to Calibrite as well to see if they are aware of this issue. They have taken over support for xRite and i1Profiler software. They have also rebranded the i1Display Pro/Plus series to ColorChecker Display Pro/Plus and CCProfiler calibratin software.
