I'm having an issue where I can't get the alternate characters for a font to show right in Photoshop. I use the glyphs panel, double click the alternate glyph I want (for example an alternate ampersand) but it will type it out as the default glyph (the default ampersand). Here's a photo showing the glyph I picked (on right) and the glyph that was typed (on left - which is the default character).
- I tried this in the 4 latest photoshop versions and it happens in all
- I tried to see if it was a font issue by testing the same thing in Illustrator, but illustrator showed the correct character. Which leads me to believe it's a photoshop glitch/bug.
- All my CC programs are up to date.
I'm on a 2020 iMac if that matters on Ventura 13.3.1
