I had used Photoshop on our Mac's at my old job a couple years ago, but I decided to buy a personal subscription to maybe do some photo touchups etc.. I noticed that the UI and the Menus are all too large for the screen and a lot of times the window header with the close button is outside the screen area. I can get it to drop down so I can close it by trying to resize it, but is there a way to force the UI to a specific percentage other than the 100% or 200%?
Im running it on a 1080p HDMI TV and the default Windows scaling is 150%.
I might have to go back down to 125% but would rather have another option if possible.
Thank you for any help.
Hi i think window scaling is better way...regards

Ok thank you. I'll drop down to 125% which usually is not too terrible, the fonts get less clear at anything under 150.

Which version of Photoshop do you have installed?

It's the latest creative cloud desktop version. I was hoping there was maybe a Windows registry setting I could use to force the UI to scale down, but I'm guessing I'll have to adjust the desktop resolution instead. Won't be too bad, it's just on a 42" LCD the fonts get a little jagged and less clear at anything lower that what Windows recommends. I really should get a dedicated monitor.
It probably wouldn't be an issue if photoshop would resize its pop up Windows better.

1080 on a large monitor is going to look jagged depending on how close you sit to it.
150% is huge on a 1080 monitor, but I realize eyesight comes into play too.
Finally, TVs are not as good with displays as computer monitors (for computers).
Consider a 4K monitor, especially if getting a large screen.

Hey thank you. I've wanted a 4K but play games mostly at 1080p and thought 1080p would look bad on a 4K tv?

You can always change the 4K resolution (3840x2160) down to 1920x1080 when playing games. Also, just because you are viewing on a 4K monitor doesn't mean the game will output at 4K. For example, I can watch a Blu Ray movie (1920x1080) on my 4K monitor maximized--that doesn't make the more 4K.
