Photoshop Version 23.5.1 Dual Monitor issue

Since this upgrade and the minor version before, my dual monitor workspace dosen't work.

I usually stretch the PS window across both of my screens and have pallettes on the right screen.

Since these version increments, my PS window keeps snapping back to the left monitor, pallettes remain but the PS window refuses to stretch. Updated Graphics drivers (Nvidia and Windows 10 (21H2). Anyone experiencing the same issue? Any fixes in the pipeline?

Hi @chrisj32822635 curious if you have manualy reset your preferences and if this might help?

 

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere: 

Restore your preferences using this manual method:  

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually 

Does it work correctly? 

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. 

 

 

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select

I no longer have Win 10 installed, but I do recall something like what you are describing happening. I do have Win 11 installed and I am able to stretch the workspace across the two monitors, so maybe it's something in the graphics handling for Win 10?

 

In order for it to work, I have to NOT use the app maximize button, but must manually stretch it to cover both screens. Seems to load up OK after restart, too. Maybe someone with Win 10 could try?

Since the last two updates my ability to stretch the window results in it snapping back.

I've never been able to maximize the window using the maximize button, only fills the one screen if I do.

Hi Cory,

did the setings removal, which worked. I did drag my modified workspace back into the settings folder which also replaced that setting, which was time saving.
