Placing an image in opened document different size?

Hi. I created two renders with the same settings. I opened one of the renders in PS, tweaked it, and saved the PS file with a new name. It comes to half the size when I place the second render to keep working in the PSD file. I read about this on the internet; it happens when there are inconsistencies between the PSD file and the image imported, but in this case, there aren't. The PSD file is based on the same image data as the second image I am trying to place into. 

Would you let me know why this happens if the images are the "same"? Thank you 

EDIT: I solved it, the issue was that in the other PC from where I opened the second render had the Camera Raw Tiff opening by default, and this behaviour changed the size (I am not sure why) by turning off the Camera Raw opening, now the file comes as expected.
