It is very common amongst some category of graphic designers and webmasters to add metadata (IPTC, keywords, description) to graphics and images and a slick and easy to use/understand keyword counter in "Keywords" and char counter in "Description" and "name" fields is highly appreciated to be added to upcoming releases of Adobe products such as Photoshop, Bridge, Illustrator, etc. One more problem for example is that keywords associated with vector .ai or .eps file cannot be transferred into graphics generated from this file .jpg, .png, etc upon exporting.
Just keep in mind that one keyword sometimes can be two-three words divided by "space" or "-" so division by "," or ";" sign indicates separate keywords.
This improvement will be highly appreciated amongst described above groups of Adobe products users and many others, IMO, as now I have to use third party software for this daily routines and I am pretty sure - many others too. For better user experience and workflow improvement keyword and character counter are highly demanded as well as worry-free method of metadata inheriting from source files.
For instance Adobe Bridge offers better experience of working with keywords however many times we need not just keywords being mindfully added but being wisely counted as well so personally I cannot use Adobe Bridge for metadata.
There is always a room for improvement.
Thank you!

oh dear,
I knew it is not going to be simple with Adobe)) Okay, I am not fancy about "me too" board function. I just want to contribute the idea so it might be incorporated into future software releases. It is all about our workflow and user experience. Where should I post it then? Or is there an e-mail address where I can send my ideas about some improvements that might be added? I understand the staff is busy with new innovative features and improvements, however there is always something to be added that costs not so much research and efforts but affects workflow and general user experience greatly.
Thank you.

Hi Sergio - the place to post the idea, so that it will be seen by Adobe staff, is the link I gave you
