Please fix Photoshop’s font picker – it’s 2025, not 2005.

Description:
Photoshop’s font selection experience is chaotic and outdated. It’s 2025 – we need an easy-to-use, modern font picker. Right now:

  • There are way too many fonts listed and no simple way to delete or hide unused ones.

  • The font selection UI is clunky, slow, and hard to search.

  • There’s no way to manage or organize custom fonts in a clean, creative-friendly way.

Please give us:

  • A smoother, searchable, and minimal font picker

  • Option to delete/hide fonts inside Photoshop

  • A feature to group or favorite fonts

It feels like I need to buy a third-party font tool just to design properly. That’s not right for a pro tool like Photoshop. Please fix this.

You can click the Star button at the top of the panel to "favorite" your fonts and hide the others.

Note that macOS includes a lot of (to me) unwanted typefaces. These are not from Adobe and do not show up in Windows.

You can also type part of the name into the search box to find the typeface you are seeking.

What Jane said and don't go to the More Fonts to look at every font on the adobe fonts site - that will make you crazy.
