Unfortunately Adobe failed to renew my annual subscription and provide a fix to its billing issues.

Therefore please suggest what other photo editing software i might use to replace Adobe Photoshop?

Correct answer Ged_Traynor

You could try Affinity Photo or if you do digital art there's Krita free

After dealing with the ongoing issues with the program as well as the complete lack of tpsupport from the company, after 20 years plus I am also looking for an alternative to photoshop. I have been learning Affinity but I have come to thencolclusion it isn't right for my workflow.

Does anyone have a suggestion for possible alternatives they have used successfully themselves?

Which are what exactly?

I am not a Gimp-user myself but have you tried it yet?

I have looked into Gimp but have not tried it. It didn't seem like it was robust enough to use professionally. Do you?

Here is a link to the thread containing my specific issue with Photoshop:

I suggest you to use PicsArt photo editing software available for Android, iOS, and also for Desktop. If you're an iPhone user then try PicsArt first.

Hello

Yes, I did some research. But I'd like to hear Photoshop users opinion. I may not know of some new software.
So far it looks like GIMP is the best free option. And Clip Studio Paint with perpetual lisense might also have all functions that I need.

That's the rub, we don't know what you need.

For example, there is colour mode support. Some only need RGB. Others need Lab or CMYK or Spot Colours etc.

Some may require automation, actions or scripts. Others may never use them.

Your choice will also depend on your operating system, some alternatives are cross-platform, others are platform specific.
