PNG image not showing in Dataset automation in Photoshop

Hi!

I am using Photoshop CC v 19.1.6 and trying to learn how to use automation with variables and datasets.

The problem is that I am trying to replace an image layer with a PNG image in my laptop and it does not show, it replaces the layer with a transparent image.

To do a proper test I have created a dataset that loads two images, both the same: one is a JPEG and the other is a PNG.

So the first dataset works properly and the JPEG image is shown but the PNG is not.

I am desperate!!! Any one has a solution for this?

Thank you!!!

I wonder if the png might be partially transparent and just appear to not show because it has a nonsensical resolution in comparison to the containing document.

@c.pfaffenbichler That's and my thoughts. Also, reference point and Method should be checked.

Hi Bojan!

The size is not the problem at all. The png file is 1920x1080p (HD) and the image size is 1920x1080p. So It has nothing to do with the size... unfortunately!

Hello, I can't test right now, but if someone can replicate the issue, I suggest posting the bug at https://feedback.photoshop.com

On Windows 10, Ps 19.1.6 everything works fine, as expected.
