Poblem with Hue/Saturation layer

Hi, my problem is that when I click for a new Hue/Sat layer,  the box in the hue value on the properties panel is highlighted in blue as if it is ready to recieve a value change. This is annoying because sometimes, just after clicking to create one, you realise you want to invert the mask. At this moment, pressing Command+delete to fill with background color gives an error as it isn't a numeric value for the active hue box....  Command+I works well but sometimes isn't what I want. Any light on this? Thanks!

The same occurs with all other adjustment layers where you need to input a number. Not in curves for example...

Not having the issue with Photoshop version 22.1.1 on Windows 10, tested all the adjustment layers and they all open fine without the value been highlighted

I believe the reason is Auto-Select Parameter is checked in the Properties Panel flyout menu.
