Print command causes PS to close. Fix?

New Here ,

Photoshop has begun malfunctioning when I click print.  Initially it send part of the command then quit unexpectedly.  A message would appear in Bridge that it quit unexpectedly.  Today it began working fine and printed three prints.  Then it began shutting down after sending part of the command.  The printer would show the command but say "incoming".  Now clicking print shuts photoshop off immediately.  I also noted that photoshop does not recognize the photo I worked on prior to printing.  What is going on?  How do I fix it?

Thanks for your suggestion.  I am using CS6 on a 27 inch iMac retina running Sierra 10.12.1.

The problem is definitely the print command in CS6.  I can modify and save photos in CS6 without difficulty.  The problem only happens when I try to print.  I can copy the photo to Lightroom and print without difficulty.

The printer is a new Epson P800.

CS6 is not compatible, so odd operation is to be expected

Adobe did not change your old program to make it stop working... Apple changed their operating system and THAT is why your old program won't work, not because of anything Adobe did
