Hi there,

Sorry that your Canon 9000 Mark 2 printer is not printing the colors correctly as it seems to be conflicting with some the printer driver or Photoshop. Let us try to isolate what you're seeing.

What is the version of Photoshop you're using and on which operating system?

I'd recommend that you take a look at this article and let us know if that helps resolving the issue: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-printing-problems.html

Thanks,

Akash

Thanks, Akash,

I am replying from my wife's computer and email, as this is where the
problem is.

The article you referenced is interesting, but I think it is overkill for
my situation. The printer works with other apps, and Lightroom and Photoshop
work with other printers, but I cannot figure out how to get proper prints
from this Canon using Adobe products.

Taking Lightroom as the example, under "Color Management" I choose profile
"Canon Pro9000 Mark II..." and "intent" = "perceptual". Then I hit the
"Printer..." button, which brings up a "Print" dialog window. From here I
select "Properties", which takes me to the Properties dialog. Working from
the "Quick Setup" tab, I check the box marked "color intensity manual
adjustments", Also, working from the "Main" tab,I set "color/intensity" to
"manual", I also check the "Disable ICM..." box, leaving the rest of the
options unchecked.

As I understand it, these steps should let Lightroom manage the colors.
What am I doing wrong?

Bob
