I have a fast iMac with 232 gig of RAM and always had good fast performance using CC apps.  Since updating IOS to Sequoia 15 everything has slowed to a crawl. .Is anyone else seeing this?  Any suggestions on what to do?

Hey, @donaldn71195037. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

I'll need more information to help you figure this out. Please share the system information from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Does the problem exist if you use Photoshop (Beta)? Is Lightroom Classic currently syncing? Are you using both applications together? Other factors must also be considered, like the size of the documents, the number of layers, and the smart objects present in each artboard.

Try these steps:

1—Go to Photoshop > Settings (CMD+K) > Performance > Advanced Settings > Disable 'GPU Compositing' & restart Photoshop & check if it helps.

2 - In Lightroom Classic, pause syncing & go to Lightroom Classic (Main menu) > Preferences > Performance > Disable GPU usage & check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Sameer K

32GB of RAM maybe? And iOS is for iPhones, an iMac has macOS.

Lightroom and Photoshop are compatible with Sequoia but there are some issues with SMB (Windows) servers, I am seeing them when using Free File Sync which worked perfectly on Sonoma and now has intermittent errors and timeouts with Sequoia.

Are you working off your local drive, network, ?
