Problem with options bar in photoshop

Options bar has suddenly disappeared, when I got it back it won't pin on the top and it's so annoying, what should I do?

On the far left side of the Options bar (it's just a little darker there), click and drag up above your open file. A blue line will appear when it's in position. Release it, and it will dock where it was previously.

What happens if you go to the Workspace dropdown in the upper right and go down to Reset Essentials?
