Problems Updating

I recently purchased Photoshop CC within the past 2 weeks and i noticed it has an available update. I went to my creative cloud, chose apps, and clicked on the update button next to the Photoshop CC icon and absolutely nothing happened. I've clicked it a million times and nothing. No error message no loading symbol nothing just the button itself changes color to show its been clicked but reverts back to normal once i let no of the mouse and that's it. info: macbook pro thats fully up to date
