Problems using require with latest CC 2015 update

We have a plugin that uses node.js functionality through require statements.  After the most recent update to CC 2015 (the update from Nov 30th), we get "Uncaught ReferenceError: require is not defined" when requiring standard node modules like path, fs, etc.

Anyone else seeing this, or better yet fixed it?
