problems with pen tool

My pen tool not working properly in adobe 2022 but working fine in adobe 2020...can someone pls help?

"Not properly" is vague. You might start with resetting the Pen tool. Right-click the Pen icon in the options bar (not Tools panel) and Reset tool.

If that doesn't work, show a screen shot of the Pen tool option and describe the problem you are having. Most likely the issue is an option that has been set. Options are "sticky" meaning they stick across documents until changed or reset.
