PS 2024 / 2025

Explorer ,
Dec 23, 2024 Dec 23, 2024

I noticed that I have 2 PS on my computer

PS 2024 ver 25.12.1

PS 2025 ver 26.2

I also noticed that my LR sends photos to be edited in PS 2024.

Question is - can I delete 2024 and keep only 2025 ?
Is there a reason to keep both versions ?

Thanks

@Theemir I wouldn't recommend deleting it, you can uninstall it from the Creative Cloud app, best practice is to uninstall version 2025 first and then 2024, then reinstall version 2025, that way the file associations shouldn't get messed up

Not really, it will just consume your disk space. If something goes wrong with the new update, you can always revert to the previous working version.

As Ged says. The fact that Lightroom sends to v25 means that your file associations didn't update correctly in the PS update. If you follow the sequence Ged describes, that should correct it. Do not uninstall v25 directly.
