Just download The PS CC 2019 update and it won't launch. Splash screen shows for a brief moment then get an error. "Photoshop CC Quit unexpectedly". Can't find anything on the net or forms. Just spent 20min trying to find a support contact but Adobe makes if very difficult and redirects all questions to FAQs and this form. This is not a general question but rather a more serious issue with their new release that doesn't work.
Any insights would be appreciated.
Im on a mac running High Sierra 10.13.4.

Hi captainlang,
We're really sorry for all the trouble caused you. Could you please uninstall Photoshop using the Adobe Cleaner tool and restart your machine. After the restart, reinstall Photoshop via Creative Cloud Desktop app and check if that helps.
Here's the download link for Adobe Cleaner Tool: Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
Let us know if that helps.

Mohit

It's been a month now and still no update. I've submitted multiple crash reports and haven't heard a peep, is this issue even being investigated by Adobe?

No this has not been resolved, I have not heard back from Adobe.

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm on Windows 10 and whenever I launch Photoshop CC v20 it crashes immediately and presents me with the crash report screen. Once sending the crash report, I have to ctrl-alt-del and end the process in order to close Photoshop. I've installed the previous older version for the time-being, which works fine.

Has this issue been solved?
Myself and the rest of the team are having the same issue since updating. We've submitted crash reports and had to revert back to 19.1.16. for now.
Thanks,
Anthony

I see this wasn't resolved. I'd recommend anyone who relies on these programs to revert. I finally had to revert Ai and PS 2019 simply because they're unstable right now. It's probably moreso with Mojave, but I can't seem to keep the programs from crashing for seemingly no reason.

No This still has not been resolved and its been a week since last contact from adobe and no answers.

Hi Sahil,
There's been no change for me on Windows 10. It still crashes on launch after updating, this is happening for myself and three coworkers on identical systems. I've submitted a crash report.
Cheers,

I'm experiencing crashes on every launch of Photoshop CC 2019.
Steps I have taken with no success on Windows 10 1803 Enterprise x64:
- Used the cleaner tool, removed every Adobe product from my system.
- Restarted the PC
- Tidied up Adobe folders left behind in %appdata% and program files, programdata and common folders
- Ran cleaner tool again
- Restarted the PC
- Installed Adobe CC 2019 (Photoshop, AI, Premier Pro) via Adobe Creative Cloud app
- Launch Photoshop for the first time.
- Second launch of Photoshop crashes and every subsequent time.
- Submitted crash results with my email address. Received no response from Adobe.
Photoshop only works again when I delete the %AppData%\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 folder. Then on the second attempt to launch Photoshop it crashes. There is something in the profile settings that is causing the crash....
Very Very annoying.

I've uninstalled, installed, cleaned, reinstalled, yelled, cried, pleaded and it still will not open. The only "help" I got from adobe was them saying, well, um, our technicians are aware of the problem and it will be resolved in the next update. That was one month ago. The strange thing is that v20 worked just fine when initially installed then there was some incremental update which broke everything. For now I'm stuck with 2018.
You would think they could get it right after almost 30 years.
