PS detected an error in your display driver

I started getting the "PS detected an error in your display driver" since the updrade to PS 2022 (23.x). See attached screenshot. Interestingly, no issues with LR Classic as shown in the screenshot below.

 

Here are the system details:

Windows 10

Graphics Controller: AMD Radeon R7 250

Driver Version: 21.09.03.08-210511a-375704C-RadeonSoftware

Software Version: 2021.0511.1352.24954

Hope someone will give me guidance on how I can resolve the issue. Thanks.

Hi

Photoshop requires a GPU with a minimum of 1.5GB of VRAM, your GPU has only 1GB of VRAM, also Photoshop reqiures DirectX12 full support, your GPU only has 11.1 support

As Ged mentioned, you card is outdated fo the latest version. You could roll back to the version that was working if you wanted to buy some time on purchasing a new card.
